We haven't had any beauty queens for a while but we were very taken by this photograph of three of the contestants for the forthcoming Miss Universe competition which takes place in Las Vegas on December 19th. Left to right we have Miss Germany Alicia Endemann, Miss Netherlands Nathalie den Dekker and Miss Belgium Laura Beyne.
Agent Triple P is particularly taken with Miss Belgium, Laura Beyne who is in possession of a very curvy and rather retro body, compared with the more conventional skinny figures of the other two young ladies. They don't give out vital statistics for beauty queens any more although we do know she is 5' 8" tall.
Twenty year old Laura, who is a trainee estate agent, also represented Belgium at Miss World in Mongolia (!) in August this year. Sadly she didn't do very well and didn't even make the top 30.
Laura gets her exotic looks from her Congolese mother.
We think she is rather splendid, although Miss Germany and Miss Netherlands are also rather lovely too. Good luck ladies!
As it's so cold and damp here at present maybe we'll put up another Miss Universe lovely tomorrow to warm us up!
